Dr Sipho Mfolozi
Dr. Sipho Mfolozi is the CEO and Chief Forensic Pathologist at Forensic Pathology Consultants. He holds an MBChB from the University of Cape Town, a Diploma in Forensic Medicine (Pathology) from the College of Forensic Pathologists of South Africa, a Fellowship in Forensic Pathology from the College of Forensic Pathologists of South Africa, a Master of Medicine in Forensic Pathology from the University of Cape Town, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Forensic Pathology from the University of Cape Town. He is the first person in South Africa to obtain a Ph.D. in Forensic Pathology. Dr. Mfolozi has performed hundreds of medicolegal autopsies over a 10-year period. He has a lot of experience as an expert witness giving court testimony in murder cases and has experience in inquest hearings. Dr. Mfolozi has also examined hundreds of sexual-assault survivors and has acted as an expert witness in many rape court cases.
